With over 12 years of experience as a professional dancer with the Teresa Carreño Ballet Company in Caracas, Venezuela, Luis has honed his skills in movement, tempo, and interpretation, allowing him to capture the essence of dance through his lens.
His journey in photography spans over 9 years, during which he has collaborated extensively with the Teresa Carreño Theatre Foundation. Through his artistic vision and technical prowess, Luis has created captivating images that tell stories of emotion and grace.
Luis’s portfolio extends beyond traditional photography, encompassing diverse projects such as artistic calendars for the Teresa Carreño Theatre Foundation and advertising campaigns for renowned dance companies including the National Dance Company and the Caracas International Ballet Competition (CIBC). He has also shared his expertise through workshops dedicated to capturing the essence of dance movement.
Beyond his roles in photography, Luis has lent his talents to various productions, serving as Stage Manager for national and international tours of the Teresa Carreño Ballet and Director of Photography for the Verdanza Production Company. He has also collaborated with esteemed figures in the arts, including renowned conductor Gustavo Dudamel and the Simon Bolivar Orchestra.
Currently based in Orlando, Florida, Luis continues to enrich the arts community with his work. He has been invited to document the prestigious Danzando por la Paz Festival, showcasing his ability to capture the beauty and energy of dance on both local and international stages.
